AMAZING!! this is our go-to spot after a nice dinner and it never disappoints! the pastries, coffee and ice cream are phenomenal and the service is impeccable. the ambiance is cozy and homey and the staff makes you feel like you're a part of the family. absolutely love this place!

Me and my wife were out of town and heard about this place from a friend of mine. We entered the bakery and were greeted by the staff. The place was busy and the bakery items looked phenomenal. We ordered the pizza bread, stuffed croissant and carrot cake. We both loved the pizza bread. The pizza bread was delicious and baked to perfection. Stuffed croissant was delicious and the filling was perfect addition to the croissant. The carrot cake was moist and the cream was not over bearing. The ambiance is amazing and customer friendly. A great place to go for some good desserts.

We ordered a few quick desserts last minute and they did not disappoint. The desserts were very filling and we ended up not being able to finish everything. The service was quick and easy. Very delicious and perfect for an end of the day treat.

Bakery is in the middle of the seedy part of town. As you walk in, be prepared to be amazed with the abundance of baked goods and the delicious sweet scent in the air. The bakery clerks are helpful with explaining all the different pastries. Eclairs are filled on the spot. The coffee shop next door is also great and worth a visit. The older gentleman working behind the counter is extremely friendly, funny and a wealth of knowledge. He also makes the best cappuccinos around!

Lovely bakery! Spacious & clean. And so much variety! They do wedding cakes, birthday cakes, freshly made bread, cupcakes, pastries that can cater to everyone. And the cannolis, are made fresh, I'm taking about they actually go make it! She was very nice and asked if I wanted chocolate, Vanilla or ricotta filling. Then if I wanted chocolate chips, cherries or nuts. I ended up getting 8 different ones and I waited about 10 min. And I got 1/2 pound of an assortment of Italian candies individually wrapped that cost me about $8 ($16 for a pound). And next door is their cafe, in which I did not have time to go in. Next time for sure! And FYI, across the street is a really good Colombian restaurant,absolutely delicious.

Walked over to this lovely corner bakery at 8:30 this morning. Clean and spacious interior. I was the only customer at the time. They have a numbering system for when it gets busy. The staff person was very kind and helpful. I ordered two chocolate cannolis and a vanilla one with chocolate chips! You dan also order them with nuts. These were the crispiest creamiest cannolis I've ever eaten. I walked with them in their neat little box for 15 minutes to our rental and they did not get soggy at all. You can have fresh bread, cookies, pies, cakes, pan dulce. You can also custom order a wedding or birthday or other celebratory cake.

We did a little research and stopped here while in Hartford. We needed cannolis and some cookies for my daughters confirmation party. The second I walked in, it brought me back to being six years old and walking into an Italian bakery. It smelled and looked exactly the same. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was very clean inside. Lots of different cakes, cookies, Italian specialties, etc to try. We ordered a few other things besides the cannolis and cookies. The pizza was better than expected. If you're getting cannolis, expect to wait a few minutes. They take your order and then fill them as you wait. It is definitely worth the wait. I didn't expect to put this in the review, but these are the best cannolis I've ever had. They use a ricotta cream Which definitely makes a difference. The chocolate was very good also. You can also add cherries, chocolate chips, or pistachios to the ends of them. I will definitely be returning when I am back in the Hartford area. Five stars!

It's been a long, long time since I've been to Mozzicato's Pastry & Bakery. This is probably the classiest store on all of Franklin Avenue. You don't even need to walk inside to experience it, just from the parking lot I could already smell the vanilla and other delicious goods baking. The inside is very clean, with some vintage posters on the walls. Every single person at Mozzicato's other then my friend and I, was an older gentleman. Maybe their wives are meeting their friends somewhere else. Even the owner and the man taking our order were older men. Maybe we interrupted a private gathering?! We got a cappuccino, a latte and a chocolate cannoli. Yes, a chocolate cannoli! This place is so authentically Italian, you can tell from a number of things. Mr. Mozzicato him self still has his Italian accent. The Italian pastries are made in house fresh. This has to be the best cannoli I've ever had. The filling is chocolate, and so rich and delicious, the crust is hard, yet flaky! I just love an authentic Italian chocolate cannoli. My latte was also creamy, with a good balance of coffee and milk, and so very tasty. Next door to the cafe, is their pastry shop. There are so many delicious cakes, cookies, candies, everything. This is the place to go if you're looking for a special occasion cake. Stop by Mozzicato's, for a sweet treat for yourself or as a gift!
